Change The Map You See In The Game
If you would like an elevational type map to be used in the game, along with base designations that are readable (how many times did you say F11 when it was really Fl1), then these are for you. Unzip this file: gamemaps.zip(753k) -into your warbirdsiii directory. Along with the great colorful maps done by Oscoog you also get better field designations. You may also want to add a "b" to the end of all the files downloaded to change the 512x512 versions as well. Do note that europeb is the large version of terr001.Some Other Maps I Once Did
I use these along with Glars Maps which are great for choosing targets and getting a general idea of the arena, and Max Overlay's bomb delay calculator.
