HIGH-LIGHTED ORIGINAL WORKS ONLINE

Customizable Java Pinball Applet
This applet coded in Java 1.2 allows users to produce their own pinball games. I have several samples with documentation on the site. It includes a little bit of Perl to boot.

Java Flight Sim Gun Camera
This is a stand alone Java 1.3 program. It runs in the background and takes screen shots of your gunsite when you pull the trigger. Examples and instructions exist at the site.

My Homepage demonstrating JavaScript/HTML
When the page loads, I have images I made of my dog that chases the cursor. This utilizes JavaScript and Layers. All the HTML at errthum.com (listed in my links on my homepage) were created by myself.

EXPERIENCE

Allied Insurance; September '02 to present
I am a member of the AWD team. AWD is an imaging package that allows all media related to a claim to be stored digitally for viewing by everyone. My teams current endeavor is to build on the package and improve it.

EDS; May '98 to September '02
I supported and developed a system that let our clients that processed on a Mainframe utilize the internet. By connecting the 'old' with the 'new' I had to be familiar with several languages and systems. I also worked with Oracle tables and did heavy PL/SQL coding on a newer system.

Pitney Bowes; June ‘96 to May '98
As a Customer Service Rep, I repaired and installed higher-end mailing machines and shipping systems. This involved computers and all the associated peripherals. I worked with customers one on one every day discussing problems and doing training. Repair included replacement of hard drives, mother boards, and all components of CPU's, printers, etc. Installation required customization and programming done to the system at the site of the customer. Among the service reps I was known as the "go-to guy" with many of Pitney Bowes' products and won Technical Leader of the Year after my first full year there.

John Deere (Co-op Position); June ‘95 to December ‘95
My position was located with Warranty Returns in the Electronics and Hydraulics Engineering group. My duties included: data entry, data analysis, and part testing.

UNI Physics Department; January ‘94 to December ‘95
During this time I graded papers, monitored labs, tutored students, and did research. My final paper was titled, "Using an Interferometric Technique to Measure the Surface Tension of a Liquid."
